Those of you who applied for 44,228 vacancies at India Post GDS (Gramin Dak Sevak), the result i.e. the first merit was published on August 19 and 22nd, 2024. Many candidates were chosen in the initial merit list, and have been invited for document verification. Candidates who have been selected in the first merit list are currently undergoing document verification. After the publication of the result, 15 days are given to them to complete the verification process. India Post GDS 2nd Merit List Release Date
India Post GDS Result cum Merit List was issued on August 19, 2024, and the shortlisted candidates are currently undergoing Document Verification, which will last till September 3, 2024. In the regions where the results were announced on August 22, 2024, document verification will continue until September 6, 2024. As we already know, the second merit list is issued within 7 days after the completion of document verification. So it can be said that the 2nd merit list of India Post GDS may be issued in the second week of September i.e. between 10th to 13th September.

India Post GDS Result 2024 was released on 19th August 2024 for 12 States and on 22nd August 2024 for 9 States. However, the results of Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana regions are yet to be declared. The cut off marks for INDIA POST GDS are determined by a number of factors, including the candidate’s qualifying examination performance, category, and state. However, candidates with higher marks are more likely to be selected. According to previous trends, the predicted cut-off mark is as follows.

- Go to ‘Candidate’s Corner’ to access the 2nd Merit List.
- Highlight and click on the option ‘GDS Online Engagement Schedule-2024 Shortlisted Candidates’.
- Select the state you are from.
- A PDF file will open, containing the names of selected candidates in the 2nd list.
- Use the Ctrl+F function to find your name; Enter the registration number and click on ‘Search’.
- Find your name/registration number in the merit list.
